Sell Your Items for Charity

It’s a great feeling to clean out your closet, especially knowing your items will be going to other families who need them. You can choose to up the feel-good factor even more by electing to donate the profits of your items to a charity supporting women, children, and families in need.

Instead of a payout, you’ll get a tax receipt in addition to the warm fuzzy feelings from helping others in need.

How It Works:

  • Choose how you wish to sell your items
  • Select ‘donate my profits to charity’ and the charity that you wish to donate to
  • Once your item(s) sell, your profits will be automatically sent to your nominated charity
  • You will receive a tax deductible receipt for your sale from your nominated charity (for all donations over $2.00)

The Global Women’s Project

sell for charity

The Global Women’s Project believes in a world where every woman has choice, independence and the power to create change. As a registered Australian non-profit organisation determined to do things differently, their work is powered by women. They are driven by the needs and wants of local women in the communities they work with (currently in Nepal and Cambodia).

The Global Women’s Project exists to give women around the world the tools and resources they need to build better lives for themselves, their families and communities. The Global Women’s Project provides women with access to information, skills, resources and community. Information, so they can know their rights and how to access them. Skills, so they can start and grow their own businesses or find jobs. Resources, like loans, so they can grow their businesses. And places of community, so they can lean on each other and have somewhere to go when they need support.

By choosing to donate the proceeds of your Jumping Jack sales to The Global Women’s Project you are helping a woman just like yourself (or your mother, sister, partner, friend) to reach her own potential and build a better life for herself, her children and her community.

Variety – The Children’s Charity supports kids and families who are facing many challenges through sickness, disadvantage or living with Special Needs.

All children should be able to follow their dreams and be the best they can be. No matter what life throws at them. No matter what their ability. Each year, thousands of children get support from Variety the Children’s Charity when they need it most.

Their work allows children to gain mobility and freedom, to get out and about in the community, to communicate, achieve independence and increase self-esteem. Variety makes sure that the kids who miss out, can always join in. Funds raised for Variety will help kids overcome the obstacles they face, so they can join in life with their siblings, cousins and friends.
