Buyer Guide

Create an Account +

Click here to create your Jumping Jack account.

 

Once you have created a Jumping Jack account you will have access to the My Account Menu.  From here you can update your profile, view previous purchases, check your orders, listed products, responses to any of your product enquiries and a list of your favourite items.

 

After creating an account, you will receive confirmation from Jumping Jack via email. If you have not received this email within 30 minutes, please check your email junk/ spam folder as they can sneak in there sometimes! Also, don’t forget to add Jumping Jack to your contacts list so that you don’t miss any important emails (such as a message from the seller, or your product shipping information).

Bundles Explained +

Bundles are where similar items are listed for sale as a package. For example, a listing of multiple baby singlets of the same size or brand.

 

Bundles are available for baby, kids, and maternity products. Simply search for the available bundles in the Jumping Jack shop pages.

 

As a buyer, you can also create your own bundle through purchasing multiple items from the one seller in the same transaction. Jumping Jack will automatically combine the postage costs of the items and you will receive your purchases in the one package.

 

Postage Options +

There are two options available for shipping. These are local pickup and Australia Post shipping. Local pickup can be offered in addition to Australia Post shipping depending on the sellers preference. 

 

Sellers will offer either a flat shipping rate or free shipping through Australia Post.

 

You can select from the available shipping options offered by the vendor in checkout for each individual vendor. If you purchase multiple items from the same seller the shipping costs are automatically combined to save you money!

 

For items purchased from the Jumping Jack Clean Out Collection over the value of $60, we will offer FREE shipping of these items to you.

 

Postage rates are calculated based on current Australia Post rates.

 

Note: Local pickup is not available for items purchased via Jumping Jack’s cleanout bag service. These items will be shipped to the buyer through Australia Post or a local courier service.

At Jumping Jack, we pride ourselves on connecting a community of parents and families to buy and sell great quality products.  We care deeply about all of our customers, and for this reason, we hold our buyers and sellers accountable for their conduct during all transactions on Jumping Jack.

 

To ensure a safe and happy environment for shopping, we have policies in place that buyers on Jumping Jack are expected to comply with.

 

In the event that something does go wrong, you can feel confident knowing that Jumping Jack seller support is available to help you. We can provide the additional support for the following, should you need some further assistance:

 

Shipping Guarantee: You have the option to request a refund if the tracking shows the order never shipped.

 

Order Satisfaction: Jumping Jack requires sellers to issue refunds if the item received is significantly not as described. If the seller is unwilling to issue a refund, Jumping Jack will mediate the dispute in order to provide an acceptable resolution.

 

Dispute Mediation: Jumping Jack mediates disputes if you feel that the items are significantly not as described, and you are not able to agree upon a solution with the seller.

 

Fraud Protection: Jumping Jack monitors sellers who fail to ship and/or ship items not as described to ensure all interactions are fair and safe.

 

Seller Ratings: After every purchase, you are invited to provide a rating on your experience with the seller to provide transparency and buyer assurance for all interactions.

 

Some tips to ensure your shopping experience is as good as possible:

  • Thoroughly review each item prior to purchase, taking note of any imperfections.
  • Contact the seller if you have any questions prior to purchase.
  • If you nominate ‘local pickup’ when purchasing, ensure to have somebody with you during the pickup, or agree to meet at a local public venue.
  • Take photo or video evidence when opening your parcels to document the condition of the items upon receipt, should there be any concerns.
  • Consider seller ratings from other members prior to purchase.

Resolving Disputes +

Most transactions go smoothly on Jumping Jack. Should an issue arise with one of your transactions, we have put together some guidance to help you resolve them easily.

 

  Item not received:

If your item hasn’t arrived yet, we recommend that you take the following steps:

 

If your item has not arrived within 14 days from the date of purchase, you are advised to contact the seller for an update. To do this, go to the ‘My Account’ section on the Jumping Jack website to make contact with the seller via the messaging system. The seller is encouraged to post your item/s as soon as possible (within 48 hours) but has up to 7 days, so please ensure you allow enough time for them to prepare your item for shipping.

 

If you have not heard a response from the seller within 48 hours, or you are having trouble resolving the dispute, you can contact Jumping Jack to seek further assistance.

 

If you do not receive an item, you may be entitled to a refund unless the seller can provide tracking information showing that it has been delivered.

 

Always keep your proof of conversation, and any other relevant information as it may be required to help resolve any issues that may arise.

 

Please be advised that Jumping Jack is unable to provide returns that are shipped through local pickup. For more information, please refer to our Return & Refund Policy.

  You are unhappy with your item:

We recommend that you take the following steps if you receive an item that is significantly not as described:

 

Let the seller know that there is a problem. You must contact the seller within 5 days of receiving the item. To do this, go to the ‘My Account’ section on the Jumping Jack website and select the item that you are unhappy with in the purchases section. From here, you can make contact with the seller via the messaging system. We find that many issues are resolved by the buyer and seller coming to a fair agreement.

 

If you have not heard a response from the seller within 48 hours, or you are having trouble resolving the dispute, you can contact Jumping Jack to seek further assistance. You will need to provide additional details for us to take into consideration, such as photographs or videos to show us the condition of the item. Items cannot be altered or used, which includes washing or stain treated.

 

We may ask you to return the item to the seller using tracked mail (we will provide you with the address). Once the seller receives the item the full amount you paid will be returned to you. Depending on the outcome of our review, the seller may also cover the cost of the return postage.

Tip: Consider taking photos or recording the opening of you parcel when you receive your items to support your case in the event that you are unhappy with your items.

 

Seller Ratings +

When you purchase an item on Jumping Jack, you can rate your experience with the seller. The rating you give the seller is then added to the overall seller rating score.

 

You can view a seller’s rating score on their listings, beneath their username.

The seller rating score is displayed as a star rating, from 0 to 5 stars. If a seller has a score of 5 stars, it means that their buyers have provided very positive feedback about their experience with that seller.

 

The total number of reviews that the rating is based on will be displayed next to the aggregated star rating (e.g. 3 stars, 15 reviews).

 

The more buyers who have rated their experience with a seller, the more assured you can be of getting great service, so we encourage you to please provide your feedback following a sale.
